1986-1993 Toyota Supra - REAR SUBFRAME REINFORCEMENT BRACKETS
The rear subframes on the 1986 - 1993 Toyota Supra are weak from the factory. They were never designed to handle anything more than stock Horse power and Torque numbers. You probably don’t know that your rear subframe is already cracked if you have never taken it out… However, even if it is not already cracking - you are 100% at risk of cracking the rear subframe where the differential bolts into the subframe itself - especially running more power that stock.
To combat this known issue, we have created a full weld in kit that consists of brackets that will completely reinforce the rear subframe. These weld on plates are 3/16” thick steel plate and have been designed to lay on the outside of the subframe. Once your subframe is reinforced with this kit, you can rest easy and not worry about that dreaded rear subframe cracking!
